[Insert Stonks raises over PLN 2.5M in a pre-seed round] Poland-based Insert Stonks has announced the completion of a pre-seed round with PLN 2.5 million ($500,000) in investments. FunFair Ventures, a UK-based venture capital firm that supports and invests in early-stage projects using blockchain technology, led the funding round. The company is working on a game monetization infrastructure based on Web3.
[Filipina actress raises $2m for startups PEG, BrandNation] Yassi Pressman is launching her startups — PEG and BrandNation — after raising $2 million in seed funding. Funding from the seed round that was led by Sonla, a cryptocurrency exchange, will be used to drive the deployment of the proprietary PEGFi interoperable and integrated digital financial infrastructure offering to its target GameFi and Web 3.0 market participants.
[Fenix Games raises $150M for blockchain game publishing] Fenix Games has raised $150 million to create a new kind of publisher for blockchain gaming. The idea is to create a publisher and platform company that plays a key role in bringing blockchain games to market. Fenix Games plans to acquire, invest and publish both existing games and blockchain games of the future. The investors include Phoenix Group and Cypher Capital.
[Levana GameFi ecosystem is getting separated from the DeFi offering] Levana originally launched in August 2021 and had the main goal of building two leverage projects on Terra at the time, Leveraged Index Tokens and Perps. Levana is facing a crypto winter, and they are separating their GameFi division from their DeFi offering. The goal of their GameFi sector is to have a community-owned, decentralized GameFi platform, as well as other products.
[Star Atlas GameFi announces mega-sale of multimillion-dollar ‘Titan’ ships] Star Atlas plans four sales to end 2022 after being impacted by the FTX collapse. The Titan Ships Sales event is part of a series of four $USDC-only sales to conclude 2022. The Titan mint involves creating and selling nine ships, with three units allocated to each of the game’s three major factions. In the future, the total number of Titan ships will expand to 18.
[Nike the latest fashion icon to step into the metaverse with new virtual trading platform] Fashion giant Nike has announced it is creating its very own space in the metaverse with the launch of a digital trading platform. Named after Nike’s iconic logo, the platform will be called .Swoosh, where users will be able to “collect, trade, and flex” virtual Nike products. Nike will release its first collection of products soon.
[South African retailer joins the metaverse] As part of its annual Black Friday promotion, mass retailer Game becomes the first retailer of its kind in SA to join the metaverse — through a Game-branded Roblox game. The Black Friday Game mixes South African culture and the fantastical in a challenge to race around a downtown city neighborhood.

[Russian President Vladimir Putin calls for international settlement on Blockchain] The Russian-Ukraine war has caused Russia to be sanctioned by SWIFT, Putin addressed this issue at a conference held by Sberbank, and he emphasized that the world needs an international settlement system that is independent of middlemen and third party interference, which could be achieved by blockchain.
[SushiSwap drafted the new tokenomics] The Head Chef, Jared Grey announced on Twitter that the new tokenomics for SushiSwap is drafted, and will be released in 2–3 weeks for public discussion.
[Solana gives full transparency to the public on how it was affected by FTX crash] Solana Foundation has given the community a report to evaluate their exposure to FTX/Alameda crash, Serum, and other DeFi protocol‘s status also being evaluated. The exposure is mostly Foundation’s assets deposited on FTX, totaled to about $180M.
[Binance Recovery fund attracted big industry players] After the collapse of FTX, Binance organized a Recovery fund and committed $1 Billion dollars to revive the industry. So far Jump Crypto, Polygon Ventures, Aptos Labs, Animoca Brands, GSR, and Kronos together made a commitment of $50M. Justin Sun and TronDAO also lined up to contribute to the fund.
[Consensys updated privacy policy ] The updated Privacy policy claimed that when Metamask users use Infura as the default RPC provider, users’ IP address and Ethereum wallet address will be collected by Infura. Later Joseph Lubin, Co-founder of Consensys, clarified that Infura needs an IP address to route responses between applications and users, and Infura will not exploit users' data.
