[Fantom Ecosystem Vault Proposal Passed] Fantom community passed the proposal to divert a third of its burn fees to fund a new vault to support ecosystem projects. Fantom will fund the vault with 10% of its transaction fees, this 10% is a third of the network’s 30% burn fee.

[Telefonica through Gamium will now enter into the Metaverse] The largest Spain-based telecommunication company, Telefonica, is now planning to enter the Metaverse through Gamium. Telefonica will now use its innovation-based incubator sector, Wayra, to allocate a non-disclosed fund for its Metaverse initiative. Telefonica has sold several pieces of land to raise millions of euros. It is advertising itself as the first decentralized platform to enter the Metaverse.

[DSCVR raised $9M in seed funding round] DSCVR, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of a Web3 social network built entirely on the blockchain, raised $9M in Seed funding. The round was led by Polychain Capital with participation from Upfront Ventures, Tomahawk VC, Fyrfly Venture Partners, Shima Capital, and Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments. The firm intends to use the funds to accelerate its roadmap and make Web3 accessible to anyone who knows how to use social media.

[Mighty Bear Games raised $10M for Mighty Action Heroes Web3 game] Mighty Bear Games has raised $10 million through a token sale to launch a blockchain game division and make its Mighty Action Heroes Web3 game. Framework Ventures led the round in the in-game token sale, which included additional investment from Mirana, Sfermion, Spartan, Dune Ventures, Sanctor Capital, Folius Ventures, Polygon, Play Future Fund, Everblue, Ancient8, Ready Player DAO, Razer, Avocado DAO, DWeb3, Great South Gate, mrblock and more.

[Blockchain virtual reality platform Aftermath Islands received $25 million investment] Aftermath Islands raised $25 million from a token sale for metaverse projects. The company made this sale to LDA Capital. The company has 12,000 people on its Discord channel and 20,000 followers on Twitter. The system will host real estate and NFTs and will use this money to accelerate its roadmap.

[Dragon Crypto Gaming’s Dragon Crypto Argenti Token ($DCAR) and The Legend of Aurum Draconis would be open for registration] Dragon Crypto Gaming (DCG) initial dex offering (IDO) of Dragon Crypto Argenti ($DCAR), a utility token for its expanding GameFi ecosystem, would be open for registration on July 20th, 2022, with the IDO taking place on July 26th, 2022. DCG has partnered with Avalaunch, the leading platform for decentralized fundraising on Avalanche.

[ReNFT announced new funding round to accelerate growth of GameFi in Web3] ReNFT is positioning itself in digital asset rentals in the global Web3 economy. The $5 million round co-led by Mechanism and gumi Cryptos Capital will have an emphasis on investors who bring strategic value as well as gaming guilds who represent millions of gamers globally. The funds will help to accelerate the pace of hiring, capture integrations across multiple blockchains, and extend their product suite.

[Esports 3.0 platform GEMS to launch on top launchpads] GEMS is to launch on top launchpads, including Polkabridge, Formless and Blokpad. The launch would kick off in late July with a fundraising amount of around $1 million. GEMS, the first blockchain esports platform that provides comprehensive services, currently has more than 80 blockchain and esport companies as partners, most of which are pioneering, top-tier investors or leading players in the industry.

[Condense collected $4.5m to bring live concerts to the metaverse] Condense would use the cash injection from the $4.5m seed round to keep developing its technology. The company has opened a metaverse studio to give established artists and emerging talent access to the technology. The studio can accommodate a live audience. The studio has been opened in partnership with Watershed, a Bristol-based cultural cinema, and creative technology venue.
