The company, which has gathered support from AAA gaming companies such as Sega, Ubisoft, and Bandai Namco, will start validating blocks from all nodes in preparation for its definitive activation slated to happen soon.

[Dvision Network announces 4th LAND sale together with Binance] Dvision Network, one of the veterans in the metaverse space, has announced the highly anticipated 4th LAND Sale in collaboration with market leaders Binance. The sale takes place on the marketplaces and Dvision Network’ native marketplace simultaneously, making it easier for Dvision LAND collectors to get involved with different chains and platforms.

[Toda City in Japan is using metaverse tools to combat school absenteeism] Toda City, located north of Tokyo in Saitama prefecture, is using metaverse-based tools to fight the absenteeism problem that Japan faces. The city includes children in virtual spaces where they can explore virtual campuses and attend classes online, while preparing to eventually rejoin regular classes again.

[London-based Pixaera raises €5.7M to upskill staff through immersive play-based learning] Pixaera, a London, UK-based provider of immersive game-based learning platform, raised $5.7M in Seed funding. This funding consists of two rounds — $1.2 million of pre-seeding and $4.5 million led by LocalGlobe. The founders of FACEIT, the competitive gaming platform for online multiplayer games; as did ERM, a leader in the renewable energy services sector, and York IE.

[Gucci vault opens in the Sandbox, bringing luxury fashion into the metaverse] Gucci is the first luxury brand to build its own space within the digital real estate platform The Sandbox, cementing its place as a first mover in the metaverse. Players can experience the Vault at 360° through a play-to-know narrative and complete activities for a chance to win an exclusive reward and SAND — the utility token or currency of The Sandbox.

[Norway steps into the metaverse with Decentraland tax office] The Norwegian government is taking steps to embrace Web3 with the establishment of a metaverse tax office. The Brønnøysund, Norway’s central register, and Skatteetaten, the nation’s tax authority, announced that they’re partnering with consulting firm Ernst and Young (EY) to establish an office in Decentraland.

Otherside metaverse, a massive virtual world is developing an online multiplayer game similar to Roblox. Greg Solano, co-founder of Yuga Labs, the creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection announced the launch of The Persistent World beta game in 2023.

[Elon Musk took over Twitter] The deal was closed at a $44 Billion valuation with the participation of SBF, CZ, and other investors. Bloomberg later suggested that Elon could bring more crypto features to Twitter and expand it into a “super app”. As a big advocate for free speech, Musk revealed a content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints to decide if actions needed to be taken on users’ accounts.

[SushiDAO voted to set up three entities to form a legal structure ] After careful consultation with legal counsel, SushiDAO will set up a DAO foundation entity in Cayman island and Panamanian, each operating to run different aspects of the protocol.
